DragonByte Coding Challenge 2026

DragonByte is an algorithmic coding challenge for engineers who enjoy hard problems, tight constraints, and fast feedback.

At Wincent, we build trading systems where small technical decisions matter. This challenge is not an HFT simulation, but the useful skills overlap: break the problem down, handle edge cases, make the right trade-offs, and write code that works under pressure. Some problems will be elegant. Some will be annoying. That is the point. We want to see how you think when the clock is running.

The 2026 edition is here

The format stays the same as in 2025: Qualification, Online Round, and On-site Finals. Online participation is open globally. The top 20 participants from eligible regions will be invited to the on-site finals held in Bratislava, Slovakia. Registration opens on May 25.
