What to expect in terms of competition problems?

All problems will feature an exactly specified problem and require you to design and implement an efficient algorithm that solves the problem.

Who can participate in the challenge?

Exact eligibility criteria for 2026 can be found in our Terms and Conditions.

Can I participate if I’m currently full-time employed?

If you are full-time employed, you are still eligible to participate. The only exceptions are the employees of Wincent and people living in the same household as them.

Do I need to pay to join?

No, participation in the challenge is completely free.

What happens if I miss one of the rounds?

Unfortunately, if you miss a round, you won’t be able to advance to the next stage of the challenge. Each round is mandatory for progression.

How are participants selected for the next stage?

Selection is based on performance in each round. For full details, please refer to the official Rules section.

What programming languages can I use?

You can use the programming language you’re most comfortable with. All competition problems are open-data and only the outputs of your programs are judged.

How will the onsite finals work?

Full details and program of the onsite finals for 2026 will be announced closer to the on-site finals date - 18-20 September 2026.

What if I have technical issues during the challenge?

If you experience technical issues during the challenge, please contact our support team immediately through the contact method provided on the challenge platform.
